These pipelines transport natural gas, carbon dioxide, crude oil, and other essentials for storing and managing chemicals, fuels, vegetable oils, etc.

TekRevol & Kinder Morgan partnership
Last year, Kinder Morgan acquired Kinetrex Energy, a leading supplier of liquefied natural gas in the Midwest and a rapidly growing company for producing and supplying renewable natural gas to transportation service providers.
Kinder Morgan has a mobile app, Kinetrex Energy, and TekRevol has completed the app code review to gauge its performance and usability.
Code review
The code review’s objective is to emphasize the application’s scalability and stability aspects. The code review was done on the source code and completed by our software architected review team. Here are the summarized findings we did for the code review.
Architecture review
Generally speaking, the coding structure is fine and can be used as it is. However, few improvements are required to make the app more scalable for future requirements and incorporations.
Usage of class components
All the app’s components are Class-based, resulting in low performance in terms of UI/UX and RE-rendering.
Code quality
Although the code quality is satisfactory but can be further improved by reducing the number of methods involved and building additional reusable components.
Database
All queries are raw, but there is a security concern. Hence, we recommend using Django ORM as a security protocol against malicious activities and data theft attempts.
UI/UX
The user experience coding requires considerable improvement to enhance the overall aesthetics and outlook of the application.
Dependencies
The dependencies and components used in the application are obsolete. We have recommended the Gradle and Xcode configuration upgrades with the latest version.
Second, the React navigation and other associated dependencies also require upgrades to the latest versions.
Backward compatibility
The application’s third-party libraries might not support the latest operating system versions and mobile devices. The tool requires upgraded, workable libraries and dependencies to perform clearly without functional and usability glitches.
