On 1st December 2022, Zohaib Hasan Nizami, VP of Project Management at TekRevol, conducted an informative session on “Career in Project Management” at Bahria University Karachi.

He did a Master’s in Finance and Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from Bahria University and has accumulated six years of experience in the field over the course of his professional tenure.

In the session, Zohaib delivered the key steps students should take when considering Project Management as a career. He started with what makes project management a top career choice, and according to him, project management is a highly rewarding and demanding career option.

Moreover, project management revolves around managing, planning, organizing, and safeguarding multiple resources simultaneously. Hence, the job is demanding, requiring the professionals to wear multiple hats simultaneously.

Zohaib also educated on the importance of gaining hands-on experience in the industry, which gives entry-level associates the fundamentals of project management.

You start in the industry mainly for an entry-level project management position and evolve with time and knowledge. Some significant initiatives are completing relevant certifications in Scrum and Agile or other project management courses.
